For about two weeks this is how Townes walked around...was he contemplating, if so what? I still catch him doing it every once in a while, it's one of those cute things you don't want to forget..so you blog it.

Just this last week we were talking about how quickly 15 months seemed to go by. We have been amazed to see how much Townes has changed in these short months. All the steps along the way, never seemed to last long, so I'd (Jessie) tell myself you better enjoy (good/bad) it won't last long. And boy was that the truth, I still find myself looking for him to say or do something he did last week, but to no avail. He's been walking for about 6 weeks now, and it's been a crazy whirlwind since then. I feel like he's going to be a teenager next week!! j/k

We really wish all of you could be a part of his life, he is such a wonderful, content, little man. We have been truly blessed by the Lord.

Story City, Iowa Our new home town!

So it's almost final. All the paperwork is in...so we wait. We have a lot of work ahead of us. The house has so much potential, that's what made us decide on it. We have a full unfinished attic, that has tall ceilings, we are going to make that the master bed/bath. The downstairs has three smaller bedrooms, bath, kitchen, dining room and living room. Also, there is a nice porch on the front of the house and a deck on the back. So we are trying to schedule out our time for fixing it all up. We have wonderful help and really are looking forward to it being all finished!
Once it's all done, we'd love for any and all of your to come visit...not at the same time of course...

Where to live..

We are in the process of house hunting. The home in the photo is one that we've found in Story City, which is only 7 miles north of Ames. We really love the character of the home, it does need a lot of work. So we are in the process of making some of those decisions!
