Finch was born in the early morning on March 20th, the first day of spring. She was 7lbs 15 oz and 21 inches long! What a cutie! She was born at home, and born very quickly. We are so thankful for all the prayers, everything went perfect. When I had Townes, my contractions were so much harder and with her God just really minimized my pain. It was wonderful! Daddy got to catch her, he says he thinks it might be the coolest thing he's ever done. She came out screaming, good lungs like her momma.
We have been very busy with visitors and company. Danny's mom and sister have been her for a week and this coming friday we'll be joined by the rest of Danny's immediate family. Jenny (his sister), her husband and their 5 kids, and Ray ( mom's new husband). We are looking forward to sharing our new little bundle with everyone, and getting to show everyone our town and house. A little nervous about sharing ONE bathroom with 14 people, yikes!! They will all be here until the 15th of April, so if you don't hear from me...I'm a little busy!
I wish you all could see our two little blessing! Townes just LOVES his baby. He always climbs up in the couch gets into position and says " hold urrr". Very cute. He was saying " hold it" but momma thought he should know that she's a her! And when he's done he'll say " momma, all done", it's usually after about 10 sec. He is doing really well, with adjusting. The nice thing about having her at home, was he sleep though the whole thing and when he woke up the next morning there she was. Momma was home the whole time, no big deal! I think it really did help with the adjustment to having her here!
Our little beauty is just as good as gold. She sleeps great, eats great, and only fusses when she needs a good burp!

Just a few seconds old!

Happy Birthday Finch, celebrating her birth. About ten hours old!
